In order to achieve this, we support you in receiving a good image of the current work field and the continuously changing work opportunities. Moreover, we offer you the handles to develop on both a professional and personal level. This way, you can distinguish yourself from the thousands of other psychology students!
The National Board consists of seven students who work full-time to look after the interests of psychology students. Moreover, the National Board coordinates Regional Boards, national Committees, and Students in Sections (SiS) to represent psychology students. SPS-NIP has nine Regional Boards and six national committees that organize all sorts of activities on both national and regional level. The Students in Sections (SiS) are students who take a position in several sections of Psychology (e.g. Neuro Psychology, Clinical Psychology). SPS-NIP also offers a number of services, such as the Trainers Office and an Internship Database. The Trainers Office provides students with several kinds of training. Our internship recruiters keep our Internship Database up to date. Every year, we spread out a survey in order to study the interests of psychology students in the Netherlands. By doing this, we make the link between what you need as a student and how we can provide this. Furthermore, SPS-NIP represents psychology students internationally as a part of the European Federation of Psychology Students Associations (EFPSA). As a student member, you have the opportunity to benefit from the services of SPS-NIP and also from EFPSA.
