SPS-NIP: moving forward!
Together with over 22.000 students you have chosen to study psychology. How are you going to distinguish yourself? Who is going to provide you with the correct information and support during your studies? Above all who is going to take a stand for your interests? SPS-NIP!
SPS-NIP is the student section of the Dutch Institute of Psychologists. Our mission is to provide substantive support, to provide information and to look after your interests. This way we are building a bridge between students and their potential working field. We do this by organising several activities, you can find more information about our activities here (hyperlink?!). Furthermore we provide you with the opportunity to personally and professionally develop yourself, this way you can distinguish yourself from the thousands of other psychology students!
The National Board works daily on looking after the interests of (psychology)students and coordinates the student section. The Students in Sections (SiS) take place in several sections and central committees on behalf of the psychology students. Six national Committees and eleven Regional Boards organise all sorts of activities on national and regional level. The Trainers Office provides students with several kinds of training. Internship recruiters keep the internship department up-to-date. The Taskforce Internationalization is here especially for the international (psychology) students in the Netherlands and their interests. Furthermore SPS-NIP represents on international level the Dutch psychology students as a part of the European Federation of Psychology Students Associations (EFPSA).
