Dear ISPA members, soon-to-become-members and those interested in the field of school psychology,
You are invited to join the 41st annual conference in Basel of the International School Psychology Association (ISPA) from 9-12 July 2019, to be held at University of Basel, Switzerland.
The theme of the conference is: Empowering People For Lifelong Learning.
Supporting children, young people, teachers, and parents in their lifelong learning is a key function of School Psychology. Lifelong learning is not limited to academic knowledge and skills. It also includes the acquisition of emotional and social competencies like the development of communication and problem-solving skills. Building up self-esteem in the course of early childhood, during the school years and later on requires “a sound mind in a sound body” ‒ the topic of one of the keynote addresses at the conference. In this perspective, lifelong learning is nothing less than the route to well-being and mental health.
Save the dates on your calendar!
Renowned keynote speakers are expected, with an attractive scientific program, and social events that include many highlights.
The call for abstracts has now been published. All abstracts and papers should be formatted according to the submission guidelines. Submit your abstract in time. The deadline is 1 March 2019.
Looking forward to welcome you to Switzerland next summer!
